The Hiker Micro Crew wasn’t the first sock we ever knit (that was a run sock) but it is our most popular. We think the heathered look is pretty rad. Available in our Limited Edition colorways and backed by our Guaranteed for Life

Running is a great way to stay in shape, and with sock colors this vibrant, you don’t have to run far to express yourself. From the pavement to the trail, this bundle promises all-terrain comfort and lets other runners know that you likely eat, sleep, and breathe your Strava feed. Us too.

In the spirit of running and using everything you got to hit your goal, we’ve knit running socks that do the same. These limited no show socks are no different from what we have in moisture-wicking, blister-resistant, ultralight run socks, already. But they make use of yarns in our overstock inventory – raw materials with nowhere to go. Except on your feet, and a lifetime of miles ahead. Unconditionally guaranteed for life, just not guaranteed to ever be knit again.

Look no further if you're on the trail of our softest men's hiking sock. The Twisted Yarn that creates a natural, silky loft is not new, but the way we knit them for even longer-wearing comfort is. Midweight with cushion underfoot and in the leg for a softer step and hiking boot comfort.

Built for dawn 'til dusk performance in the nastiest conditions. Fine gauge knitting and ribbed arch support makes this Merino Wool hunting sock a warm and worthy partner in the woods.

Named after one of our Mill workers, the Yarn Goblin gives a nod to creatures of the night. Best enjoyed fireside telling ghoulish ghost stories, this Lightweight Micro Crew is equipped to endure the monsters (and outlive them, too.) Featuring a smooth 1x1 rib knit pattern, these socks are bursting at the seams with comfort and spooky street cred.

Inspired and designed with legendary Vermont snowboarder and backcountry wizard, Jake Blauvelt, the Backwoods Over-the-Calf sock delivers both underfoot and shin comfort in a boot thanks to added terry loop cushion. With bolstered durability and Vermont-inspired looks, you may never ride as well as Jake, but you can wear the same socks (for life) —and that's something.

A lightweight work sock, designed to fit best with rubber boots, was on our list for several seasons - but it wasn't until we started working with Alaska's Salmon Sisters, their family and crews, that we had a stacked deck to work with. Pulling long stretches on their commercial fishing boats, the cushion underfoot gave welcome relief, while mesh windows on the foot and leg helped everything breathe. Features an extended protective toe box for impact protection, and our durable, performance fit eliminates the soul-crushing sock slip in a tall boot. We couldn't ask for better testing, they said they couldn't ask for a better sock.

Off the track and into a PR, the retro-styled Men’s Grit run sock tips its headband to baton-passing champions of the past and wins the future with Merino Wool performance. Built with targeted flex zones and a non-slip fit that runners love, this sock’s always got your back. From single track scrambles to road sprints, the Grit is what you need to push through to the finish line.

Your heart’s desire is to be told some mystery. So, here goes nothing. We don’t know what you’ll get, but based on your desired height, size, and gender, we’ll send you a pair. We’ll admit, it’s less a Sherlockian-riddle than it is a chance to score some exclusive knits. But even if the world’s best (British) detective did get assigned this case, odds are it would take him a lifetime to crack. Luckily, our socks are good for it.

Dive into a world of long-lasting comfort (and durability and fit) with the new Men’s Diver – a Lightweight Crew swirling with lily pads and loons. Common as they are, we assure you there’s nothing common about the loons – or the tech – on this moisture-wicking Merino Wool sock. Must be something in the water.

The only thing scarier than snakes are cotton socks. Our Field Guide Lightweight Crews are made from silky-smooth Merino Wool, so you'll slither right into the perfect fit. And with our Lifetime Guarantee, if these start to look a little ratty, we've got you covered.

This little lamb is knitting to give. 5% of the proceeds from this employee-designed Lightweight Crew sock will go to the Vermont Food Bank.

Named after a 70's band that used to travel and perform at lean-tos along the Appalachian Trail, the VanGrizzle is seasoned for sure. Actually, we just made that up, but what's pure fact is how a Merino Wool trail sock is at home in the elements – so you don't have to grin and bear them.

Current Season's Socks

As every New Englander knows—and as illustrated by our Snowpack Over-the-Calf sock—it isn't the depth of the snow that matters, but the quality of the layers. Because just like the snowpack, when socks are knit with top-notch Merino Wool, increased durability, and a precise fit, the longer lasting (and more enjoyable) it will be in the end.
